Our exclusive 2025 calendar showcases Antarctic art, which we hope will spark memories and capture imaginations. Scientists and artists shared in the great expeditions of exploration and discovery that documented the unknown southern land of Antarctica. From William Hodges’ etchings aboard the Resolution as Captain Cook crossed the Antarctic Circle in 1773 to today’sartists in residence painting in the crow’s nest of the Royal Navy’s ice patrol ship, artists and scientists have looked in the same direction to discover, understand and explain what they see.
