Gentoo Penguin Silk Scarf

This exclusive design silk twill scarf is handmade for the UKAHT in Gloucestershire.

The hand drawn gentoo design was especially commissioned by the UKAHT and is based on old natural history drawings.This beautiful and exclusive square silk scarf is a delightful and practical addition to any wardrobe.

The gentoo design is inspired by the parade of penguins seen on Port Lockroy. Spot the one cheeky fellow facing the other way!

Your pure silk scarf should either be dry cleaned or washed by hand only in water at approximately blood heat using a small amount of liquid soap. Rinse in cold water then squeeze out gently – do not wring. Pad off excess moisture by placing it flat between two towels. For the best finish iron on the reverse side while still damp with a medium to hot iron. Iron up to the hand rolled edge, taking care not to flatten it.
