Husky Bronze Figure

A husky dog figure, sculpted by artist Harriet Dunn and cast by hand from bronze composite in the West Country. Dogs were an important part of exploration in the ‘heroic age’ - employed to work, they were also companions and very much part of the team. This husky is shown wearing his working harness.

Harriet Dunn specialises in birds and dogs. She lives and works from her studios, situated in an idyllic position on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
