A handmade home fragrance candle from Lakeland Lights Co in Cumbria, Damoy Point: The Orange Hut is made with 100% natural soy wax and blended with high-quality fragrance oils.

Overlooking Dorian Bay, Damoy’s bright orange hut once provided temporary refuge for travellers bound further south. Fondly known as “the world’s most southerly waiting room”, it served as an airport on ice, where men waited for Twin Otter aircraft to carry them deeper into Antarctica.

Driftwood, canvas and vetiver create a cool, woody fragrance, lifted by a subtle hint of citrus. Fresh and aromatic, it evokes the hut’s rugged warmth amid the ice.
