This limited-edition, collectable patch marks the 80th anniversary of Britain's first continuously occupied base in Antarctica, Port Lockroy.

On 11 February 2024, the UK Antarctic Heritage Trust's flagship site, Port Lockroy, celebrated its 80th birthday. Our exclusive collectable patch commemorates the moment when, in 1944, the site was selected as Base A – the first continuously occupied British base in Antarctica – as part of the secret wartime mission, Operation Tabarin.

Attach the patch to your favourite jacket, blazer or backpack to carry a piece of polar heritage wherever you go, or simply cherish it as part of a unique collection.
From secret mission to penguin post office, Port Lockroy is an ever-evolving story.
