Ice Trap! tells the story of Shackleton’s Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition, which set off in 1914 aboard the ship Endurance.

Shackleton aimed to walk across Antarctica, but instead this expedition became one of the greatest rescue stories in history, after the Endurance became trapped and then crushed by the ice, leaving the men stranded in Antarctica with little hope of discovery or rescue.
